So today I decided I was going to play with some photos and put them on some ceramic tiles I had laying around. I had attempted this once before, and it hadn't turned out so well.
Here's today's attempt. It actually has a linen finish but you can't see it.
This was the first attempt, with one of my best girls, Sherry. Guess it was better than I thought. This was a gift for a friend of hers. Really it was all her idea. <3
Very fun! Have you come up with a way to hang the tiles?
ReplyDeleteThe original (9 tiled) piece was mounted on a heavy cardboard backing. I (think) the giftee framed it to hand it, but I'm not sure on that.
ReplyDeleteAs far as what I've got in mind for the individual tiles, I've got several ideas. They can rest on a table top easel, be made into coaster sets, or i'll attach a ribbon to the back or a wall hanger. I think the ribbon would be pretty cute!
